A Syrian Bedouin khanjar from the time of the French Mandate period. The double- edge curved steel blade has remnants of silver overlay. The all steel composition of the hilt and sheath has silver overlay, most of which is now lost or faded. Two silver rosettes adorn the grip on the front side. Thick triangular pommel. Attached with an iron baldric ring.
